Preparation
Make sure
final finish coat has been:
- stripped
and removed (varnish,
wax, urethane, paint)
- cleaned
and ready to receive the oil
- dust
free
Apply
the oil with either:
- a brush
- a lint free
cotton rag.
You do not
need to use a sealer:
- The
first coat is your sealer
Apply
your first coat thick:
- feed the wood
- continue
applying coats until the surface is thoroughly
soaked
- start
hand rubbing the oil into your wood
- wipe
off excess
- Let dry
for 48 to 72 hours
The rags
are combustible:
- spontaneous
combustion is possible
- submerge the rags, in water.
- keep all
materials out of the reach of children
Apply
second coat:
- remove
any dried on dust that may have collected using
0000 fine steel wool
- remove
any dust with a tack rag
- apply
second coat
- Soak the
wood again
- hand rub
- Let dry
for 48 t0 72
Repeat

and rags away from open flames and hot surfaces
